  • Fitness: Riding the WAW is a moderate and extremely rewarding adventure. To complete the journey, you will need good mobility, endurance, fitness and little-to-no injuries or chronic pain. There are some long rides balanced out with the easy.
  • Memorable: With unique sites, ocean breezes and rolling hills, comes unforgettable scenery and amazing experiences. If you like historic buildings, old pubs and country roads and villages where perhaps distant ancestors once road themselves, you will thrive.
  • All interested travellers will be invited to partake in a small video call with our guide to finalise suitability for this trip. Onboarding with 'Know before you go' and 'What to bring' details will be provided to ensure you are ready and right to go :)

♡ Why we love it!

  • The greatest: It is considered one of the nicest rides in the world.
  • Beauty: We pass through some of the most beautiful farmlands, rocky ocean aspects and varied landscapes in Ireland.
  • Community: It is a popular experience, and many people find that riding this in the company of other cyclists creates a sense of camaraderie and shared purpose (fun is the aim).
  • Physical & mental: There are some long and demanding rides, but many people find that the physical challenges of the journey are well worth the rewards. The journey also allows for a lot of introspection, reflection and self-discovery.
  • Spiritual: Many people find that the journey has a spiritual significance for them, especially those that climb Crough Patrick ('the REEK') reaching this destination is a deeply moving and meaningful experience.
