Overview
This 11-day adventure takes you on an unforgettable journey through Peru’s most iconic destinations, combining culture, history, nature, and adventure into one seamless experience.
Your journey begins in Lima before flying to Cusco, the historic heart of the Inca Empire, where you’ll acclimatise to the altitude and explore the surrounding region. From here, you’ll discover the Sacred Valley, visiting ancient Inca sites such as Pisac and Ollantaytambo, before continuing by train to the gateway of Machu Picchu.
A highlight of the trip is your guided visit to Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, followed by a challenging hike to the colourful Rainbow Mountain in the Andes.
The adventure continues along the scenic Route of the Sun to Puno, where you’ll experience the unique culture of Lake Titicaca. Stay overnight with a local family on Amantani Island, visit the Uros floating islands, and explore the traditions of Taquile Island.
Returning to Lima, you’ll explore the city’s historic and modern highlights before heading south for a full-day excursion to Paracas and Huacachina. Here, you’ll encounter wildlife at the Ballestas Islands and experience the thrill of dune buggy rides and sandboarding in a desert oasis.
